Alanna has a degree in Recreation Therapy from Western Washington University. She
has worked as a CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) in psychiatric
hospitals with children, adolescents and adults and has spent time working with youth-at-risk,
as a church youth group leader, camp counselor and coach. Alanna has spent time
traveling around the country leading the popular "TAG" (Therapeutic Activities and
Games) Workshops for teachers, counselors and therapist. She has written four books
and invented many of the games found in each book along with the board game Team
Up. She continues to write books today, and has fun leading games as a youth leader
at her church and enjoys coaching youth soccer.
